The High Speed Hitters showcased their tenacity and skill throughout the intense match, with rookie standout Kiesha Bedonia playing a pivotal role in the team's triumph. Bedonia's clutch performance in the deciding set, where she delivered crucial hits to break deadlocks and rattle the Flying Titans, proved decisive in securing the win for PLDT.

Despite the remarkable comeback efforts led by Choco Mucho's Sisi Rondina, who rallied her team from a 0-2 set deficit and a 13-18 deficit in the third frame, PLDT remained unfazed. With nerves of steel, Bedonia seized the moment and propelled PLDT to victory with powerful baseline blasts and through-the-block hits, ultimately clinching the match point for her team.

The win resulted in a tightly contested leaderboard, with PLDT joining Choco Mucho, Petro Gazz, Cignal, and Creamline at the top with 4-1 win-loss records. The victory sets the stage for an intense battle heading into the second half of the single round preliminaries of the PVL's season-opening conference.
