Trenten Anthony Beram finished first place in the men’s 400-meter dash finals on Thursday (August 24), winning his second gold medal of the 2017 SEA Games.
A day after ruling the 200-meter run, Beram registered a time of 46.39 seconds to beat Phitchaya Sunthonthuam of Thailand, who clocked in 46.46 seconds, and Vietnam’s Quach Cong Lich with a time of 46.48 seconds.
Beram's second gold is the 14th in total for the Philippines.
