Nikko Bryan Huelgas retained his men's triathlon title to win Philippines' second gold medal of the 2017 SEA Games on Monday, August 21 at the Water Sports Complex in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
The country's other bet John Chicano placed second to get the silver medal.

Huelgas clocked one hour, 59 minutes, and 30 seconds, while Chicano registered an official time of 2:01:27.
Clement Chow from Singapore checked in at 2:03:24 for bronze medal.
The first gold medal for the Philippines was won by Mary Joy Tabal in women's marathon on August 19.
