The PLDT High Speed Hitters earned their first win in the 2023 PVL Second All-Filipino Conference as they swept the Akari Chargers, 25-16, 25-16, 25-23.

Savannah Davison towed the High Speed Hitters with 19 points on 14 attacks, three blocks, and an ace. She was ably supported by Dell Palomata, Erika Santos, and Royse Tubino, who contributed 13, 12, and 11 points, respectively.

The Chargers failed to carry over the momentum from their impressive opening victory over the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers on Tuesday. They dropped to a 1-1 record.
